This is an initiative to build an automation factory at Nordea Finance level to support and build automation frameworks for all Nordea Finance release trains. Applications to be automated are Java/ .Net based UI Web/desktop applications and REST/Soap APIs.
Test Automation Expert/Lead
Expectation
- Experience with multiple programming languages (Java, Javascript or Python would be advantageous)
- Hands on experience on Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, JUnit and other industry standard automation frameworks/tools
- Experience of OOP and SOLID programming practices
- Experience working with multiple projects & on multiple Test Automation Solutions (TASs)
- Experience automating full stack technology levels (i.e. database, web services/APIs, GUI etc.)
- Experience in building the automation frameworks and leading the team of automation experts
- Hands on experience integrating automation frameworks with Test Management tools like JIRA Zephyr, qTest
- Test data and test environment management
Nice to have
- Good interpersonal and co-ordination skills
- Fluent English skills
- SAFe & agile is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Understand the application landscape and build the automation framework
- Co-ordination with various stake holders to gather automation scope, test data and business process details
- Onboarding, training and mentoring of automation testers
- Develop automation test strategies, plans, and maintain automation test data
- Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features and enhancements are developed.
- Plan and manage the automation framework/scripts handovers to respective application teams
- Drive the automation framework improvement and maintenance during maintenance period
- Follow the Nordea automation test framework guidelines and coding standards, review the automation scripts
Build end to end automation suites integrated with test management and reporting tools
